The
Burns Harbor Town Council held its public hearing
for the 2010 Budget on September 9, 2009. The 2010
budget was approved by the Town Council by a 3 - 0
vote on October 14, 2009. Following that the budget
was submitted to the Department of Local Government
Finance (DLGF) for final approval and the setting of
tax rates. The DLGF approved the 2010 Budget and
set final tax rates in February 2010.
The
2009 Budget was presented by the Burns Harbor Town
Council for public hearing on September 10, 2008.
The Council then met on September 23, 2008 to
finalize the budget. The 2009 budget was approved
by the Town Council by a 5 - 0 vote. Following that
the budget was submitted to the Department of Local
Government Finance (DLGF) for final approval and the
setting of tax rates. The DLGF approved the 2009
Budget and set final tax rates in November 2009.
